My name is Benjamin and I graduated from HDK-Valand in June 2022. As an artist, I work with VR, new media, interactive art, and 3D, which allows me to create unique and innovative artworks that challenge the boundaries of what is possible in the art world. By using technology and new media, I am able to create works that give the audience a completely new experience and make them think in a different way. My works often explore different narratives and investigate how we can use technology and interactive elements to tell a story in a new way.

Work
  • 3D Generalist – Wyghöy AB, 2023
    I successfully completed a large-scale project for Smekab Citylife, an industrial company specializing in the design and production of public space furniture. My role involved transforming their CAD drawings into 3D files, creating materials, and rendering over 15,000 high-quality product images for their new website, launched in the winter of 2023. This was an extensive, industrial-level effort, fully executed through Unreal Engine with automation processes throughout. Additionally, the project is ongoing as Smekab AB releases new models annually, for which I continue to deliver new visual assets. My work significantly contributed to the visual representation of their products online.

  • Technical artist – Another truth - Scania, 2023
    Developed an 3D application with unreal engine 5 for Scanias museum in Södertälje. The application was on display early 2024 for visitors that wanted to learn more about Scanias charging infrastucture.

  • Technical artist – Another truth - Appletrees, 2022
    Developed and deployed an 3D application for applestrees website. The application was made in unreal engine and was hosted on a server and streamed to visitors at appletrees website. The application was a realtime 3D scene showing their digital store and clothing on display. 

  • Technical artist – Göta Film AB, 2022
    Technical artist at the project Crow Castle. The project explores the narrative from film in a VR-environment. Together with Ismaila and Filip we made a prototype that was on exhibition at the Venice biennale 2022.

  • 3D artist – The National Museums of World Culture, 2022
    Works with a team of two 3D artists and a project manager to make a game about the chronicle of Mexico. The game is aimed at students currently studying history.
